Trip down memory lane.
The flood of text messages and phone calls yesterday from friends and family culminated in a number of visitors last night. Thank you from Bee and myself to everyone who has expressed, no matter how, best wishes for Bee and her leg. I know it certainly cheered her up to have so many ppl make contact to check in on her :)
Visitors started with Ben and Brad before Brad had to leave to play indoor cricket. Duncan & Rhonda also popped by and the five of us (Ben stayed) ordered pizza and chatted some. Baby Blue soon became the centre of attention as Ben, who was using him to blog at the time, showed Drunc (Dunc & Rhonda) the Golf GTI clips on YouTube. (Ed: the second one has been posted as my new Video Clip of the Moment) This suddenly, and surprisingly, turned into us all searching, and finding many hilarious clips we'd seen via email, websites etc including this one that I had never seen before. Thanks to Dunc for the knowledge on this one.
Dunc then mentioned he wanted the Fraggle Rock theme song for his new mobile so he could set it as his ringtone. YouTube then not only became a source of humour but the vehicle by which we all took a trip down memory lane. We watched old intros to so many old shows that took us all back to our childhoods. It is amazing how vivid memories can be once you have a trigger for them.
These ones in particular (some I have searched and found since) jogged my memory. Do they jog (or jar?) yours? :)

I said it on the night but the mysterious cities of gold made me feel like I was five again. I was completely in love with that show and for a couple of minutes there it took me back to a time when everything was innocent and pure. Before I got all cynical.
